W/O W H S Ansell and crew were posted to 550 Sqdn from No. 1 L.F.S on 26.6.44:

- Sgt A Anderson (W/Op)
- Sgt E W Parker (MU/AG)
- Sgt O Tabuteau (R/AG)
The Ansell crew, in EE193, were lost on an operation to Stettin 29/30 August 1944.
Six, including Sgt Tabuteau who came from Banff in Alberta, are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial, while F/Sgt Battersby is buried at Reerso Churchyard, 9 km WSW from Gorlev in Denmark.
