W/O J K Murray and Crew

W/O Murray and crew were posted to 550 Sqdn from No. 11 Base on 7.6.44:

W/O Murray was killed in Lancaster LM134 flown by the F/O Neilson crew when it was lost on 16/17 June 1944 to Sterkrade (one of three 550 Lancasters lost on this operation). On this occasion W/O Murray was flying his first operational flight as 2nd pilot to F/O D F Neilson. For information about that flight see the F/O D F Neilson page.

So the remainder of this now "headless" crew was posted to 11 Base on 19.6.44, 2 days after the loss of their pilot.
