2PM Flypast timing confirmed

Saturday July 6

Please note that our afternoon events are scheduled around the Lancaster flypast which does have to be dovetailed in with other Lancaster commitments that afternoon, and the detailed timings may therefore be subject to very last minute change (weather conditions, etc).

Approximate Timetable of Events:

09.30 Museum opens.
11.30 Museum closes.
11.30 Bar opens at Amethyst Hotel, East Halton.
12.00 PM Buffet lunch at Amethyst Hotel .
1.20 PM Leave Amethyst Hotel for North Killingholme. Medals may be worn.
1.35 PM Wearing medals Form up outside Village Hall behind Immingham Air Cadet Band and march to the Memorial Stone.
Those who have to drive are requested to drop passenagers at the Stone and then park further down on the right hand side using the apron
of Somerscales Haulage. We are keen to avoid parking in Lancaster Approach.

2.00 PM Lancaster flypast

2.15 PM Act of Remembrance at the Memorial Stone. Wreaths are laid.
2.25 PM Service ends. Photo opportunity.
2.40 PM Follow Immingham Air Cadet Band back to the Village Hall.
3.15 PM Service in St. Denys Church begins.
4.15 PM Service ends. Display of 550 memorabilia and books on sale. Patrick Otter will sign his Book "No. 1 Group - Swift to Attack".
4.40 PM Tea in Village Hall. 550 Squadron Museum open.
5.30 PM Disperse.

7.30 PM Formal Dinner. £28.95 a head. There will be a seating plan.
