550 Squadron

Photographs from the wreath laying ceremony at North Killingholme on Remembrance weekend, 8th November 2015.

The service at the Memorial Stone was well attended with a greater number than in previous years.

The service was taken by Rev. Paul Salmon. Wreaths were laid by Jack Harris, Kathleen and David Robinson. A floral tribute was laid by Geoff Hatfield and numerous persons placed wooden poppy crosses in remembrance of crews lost.

Unfortunately low cloud meant that a hoped for fly-past on Remembrance Sunday by two aircraft of 100 Squadron over St. Denys' Church did not take place.
