550 Squadron Commemoration May 2014

A selection of photographs from the Commemoration Service in Sint Niklaas, Belgium in May 2014. Family members of the crew were joined by members of the 550 Squadron Association as well as Belgian civil and military representatives.

550 Squadron Association Visit to Sint Niklaas

In May 2014 the families of the crew, RAF 550 Squadron Association and representatives from Rebecq and Westerlo took part in the commemorations in Sint Niklaas for the Dukelow crew. In addition the procession to the graves was accompanied by the Canadian Ambassador, local dignitaries, children from local schools and pipers. Some photographs from the visit are shown below, including the commemoration in the cemetery and the reception that followed in the Stadhuis.
