Is trying to find Raymond  Hicks

My name is Irene Sparacello and I write from Italy. I write to you because I’m desperately searching a man called Raymond Hicks. He is my boyfriend’s grandfather.

We don’t know if is still alive and actually, we know very few things about him.

It seems that Mr. Raymond Hicks was a pilot in the R.A.F.

He was definitely in Cologne (Germany) in the early ’50 and he had a relationship with a woman called Josi and they had a son called Raimund, born in November 1952. Raimund is my boyfriend’s father.

Josi is still alive. She doesn’t want and never wanted to tell anything more about Raymond Hicks, don’t know the reason why. We know that she wanted to break the relation up. Nothing more than this. Then she married a man, Joseph Schön whose name has been given to Raimund (now is Raimund Schön. My boyfriend name is Daniel Schön).

Raimund Schön, during is youth have been searching is father without any results. Now he is 52 years old, he has 5 sons and he lives in Italy after having married Emma. When Raimund and Daniel told me the story I decided to help them. Raimund is a grown up man, of course, but he still miss a father and his dream is to find him, if he’s till alive, or to find at least some relatives, in order to recover part of his past.

Thank you for having read my letter and please, if you can help me to find the Raymond Hicks we are looking for, or have any further information about him, please, email me,

seeks information regarding Mr Brian William McGee

I was looking for information pertaining to my grandfather Mr Brian William McGee who I believe served at North Killingholme. Unfortunately I do not have any information regarding his rank or role. I have found a couple of pictures on the website with him in, most notable photo is the photo "F/O Geoff Screen DFC...", my grandfather is 2nd from the right back row.
