In
March 1996 star No. Aquila RA18h58m 27.065-D17°24' was renamed 'Baker
Queenie Mike Squared' in memory of Frank Pritchard, a founder member of 550
Association.
BQM2,or 'Baker Queenie Mike Squared' was the identification code of the
Lancaster in which he served as a gunner.
Although astronomers take little note of the new names but it is interesting to imagine someone in the future enquiring into the unusual name of this star.
