Sgt F.E.Drawbridge survived the loss of NG132, the last Bomber Command aircraft to be shot down over the UK in WWII (shot down by intruder (Fw Rudi Morenz from 1V.NJG2), Humber estuary 18:00 17 Mar 1945. Sadly he was the only survivor. See: NG132 FTR.
