P/O J E H Davies & Crew

P/O J E H Davies and crew were lost on the 12/13 July 1944 operation to Revigny in LM647.

The crew was as follows:

All were killed and are buried in Vignory Communal Cemetery, France.

Correct spelling as per CWGC despite name on photo. Definitely the crew’s Nav - he is the only navigator of that name (MacKenzie or McKenzie) to serve on 550

The identification of the following two crew-men is circumstantial, but the chalk writing on the boards looks similar - any confirmation or alternative identifications would be welcome.

There were three A/Gs called Taylor in 550 Sqdn, two of whom were lost on operations.
