Note that Trodgian differs from the name given in the ORB (Trudgian). It is unclear which is the correct spelling. Also Sgt H Doherty who is recorded in the ORB as flying either as MU/AG or R/AG on different occasions, assumed as MU/AG here |
On the 4th November 1944 the Flight Engineer (Sgt G P Sythes) was badly injured by flak and as a result was transferred out on 05/11/44 to hospital. Consequently the Ansell crew flew with a couple of different F/Eng for their later ops, and their details are:
- Sgt H Moreton (F/Eng)
- Sgt Lambie (F/Eng) (as pictured in the crew photo above)
