Lancaster PD320 was being flown by the (by then) F/Lt Barnes crew when it was lost on operations 24 March 1945 to Dortmund.

The two Canadian air gunners, P/O W E McDonald and P/O E Lindsay had consecutive service numbers which means they almost certainly joined up together. P/O Lindsay came from Vancouver but there are no family details for McDonald.
