The picture may have been taken at either Fiskerton or Hemswell; the aircraft in the background, NG163, is not listed in 550 Sqdn records, but the crew flew this aircraft with 150 Squadron.

The crew was with 550 Squadron for a relatively short time. Having arrived in October 1944 they, along with a large part of "C" Flight, left on 7th November 1944 to form a heavy bomber flight in 150 Squadron. See http://www.historyofwar.org/air/units/RAF/150_wwII.html. They were again soon in the thick of it as this record from 150 Sqdn just four days after their arrival shows: http://www.fiskertonairfield.org.uk/images/150_ops.jpg.
