F/O P M Fletcher (B/A) Log Book
P/O Fletcher's log books and other materials have been donated to the 550 Squadron Museum and some pages from these are shown below.
Many thanks to Stuart Fletcher (son of F/O Fletcher) for making these log book pages available, and providing the following anecdote.
Lancaster "Theft"
A number of interesting stories from Operation Dodge are recalled in the October 2016 Association Newsletter. My father, F/O Percy Fletcher, flew as part of F/O Cox's crew three times on Operation Dodge: 13th, 23rd and 26th August 1945.
He once recalled that they must have been the only crew to have had a Lancaster stolen. They parked up on the Pomigliano airfield and when they returned to the aircraft the next day they found it had been taken by another crew.
